Job summary

Automationtechies is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage orders, quotes, and customer interactions for industrial automation solutions. You will coordinate with international teams, prepare quotes, and ensure timely delivery while promoting the company’s sensors and related products.

Applicants should have a college degree or relevant experience, with knowledge of industrial sensors and strong communication skills to support customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of industrial sensors or electrical background preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with people outside of the organization, representing the organization to customers and other external sources.
• Experience in quote preparation and order entry preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and provide lead times to customers.
• Provide order and shipment status to customers.
• Consult with customers to discuss and advise best products for specific applications.
• Negotiate or adjust the pricing structure depending on the market and the exchange rate.
• Prepare and submit quotes and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the International sales department in Japan as well as the shipping company.
