Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our Fluid Solutions branch, recommending solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders based on customer needs.

You will focus on fluid solutions equipment rental and supply, building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers growth opportunities and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of fluid solutions related products and applications preferred.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Establish understanding of rental business for specialty engineered rental products and services (electric & hydraulic pumps).
• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Educate customers about proper equipment use.
• Coordinate with branch staff to deliver customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and track daily equipment pickups and returns.
• Run reports to monitor equipment and facilitate operations.
• Maintain inventory records of branch assets.
