Carter Lumber Company is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to be the face of the store, helping customers in person with product information and project advice. You will handle estimates, process transactions, and follow up on quotes, with opportunities to qualify leads and assist Outside Sales Reps as needed.

Salary plus commission is offered, with a commission structure that has no cap on earnings, making this a performance-driven role within a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer service is required.

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by sharing product information and advising on project needs.
• Produce estimates for packages/projects and process transactions.
• Follow up on online quotes, qualify new leads by cold calling, and support Outside Sales Reps as needed.
• Assist in inventory control by conducting cycle counts and resolving overages/shortages.
