Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Rep to act as the key customer contact at the branch, advising on solutions, quoting, selling and fulfilling rental orders. You will build relationships and deliver outstanding service while supporting branch growth.

You will process quotes, establish accounts, negotiate pricing, manage deliveries and generate new leads to drive sales, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies per policy.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage delivery expectations.
• Generate leads for new business and share with Outside Sales.
• Warm call on lost or dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean, presentable showroom with stocked merchandise.
• Perform other duties as needed.
