Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is the world’s largest equipment rental provider seeking an Inside Sales Rep to serve as a key customer contact at our branch. You will quote, sell and fulfill orders, establish new rental and sales accounts, and deliver exceptional customer service while driving branch growth.

You will negotiate prices, dispatch deliveries and generate leads for expansion. This role emphasizes relationship-building, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork within a branch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies per pricing policies.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery.
• Generate leads for new business and share with Outside Sales Representatives.
• Warm call on lost/dormant accounts to retain business.
• Maintain a clean and presentable showroom with stocked merchandise.
• Other duties as needed.
