Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Inside Sales Rep for our Customer Care Center in the United States. You will answer inbound calls, qualify equipment needs, create reservations and quotes, and provide exceptional service to customers and prospects. Four weeks of in-person training is required to start, followed by a hybrid schedule.

The role emphasizes upselling, pricing negotiations, and seamless collaboration with branches and field partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years inside sales experience, lead generation focus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience with construction equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and qualify equipment requests
• Create reservations and quotes in systems
• Negotiate prices and upsell when appropriate
• Coordinate with branch staff and field partners for customer satisfaction
• Meet service levels for calls, responses, and accuracy
