Job summary

Wesco seeks an Inside Sales Representative to engage with existing customers, grow orders, and improve the buying experience. You will obtain, create, and up-sell orders, working with outside sales to meet goals.

The role includes a base salary with commission; 2–4 years of sales experience, MS Office familiarity, and the ability to travel up to 25% are expected. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated; 2–4 years sales experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of sales administration and MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter orders; explain stock-outs and delivery dates.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items and leveraging history.
• Own and qualify opportunities from marketing and outside sales.
• Identify process improvements and follow up on quotations.
• Review open orders and address items at risk of delay.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports; notify customers.
• Report industry trends and customer feedback to management.
