Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Associate Representative - Inside Sales to engage with existing customers primarily by phone and email to grow sales of Wesco's products and services. You will upsell, ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborate with outside sales to meet team goals.

Responsibilities include processing orders, generating quotations, monitoring open orders, and communicating delivery expectations. The role offers a commission-in addition to base salary and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of sales experience or related field.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to perform basic computer tasks.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication; attention to detail.
• Ability to prospect and market concepts to accounts.
• Ability to solve routine problems and work independently with supervision.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders through email and telephone; enter items and verify accuracy.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items based on customer history.
• Own, qualify and develop opportunities passed from marketing and outside sales.
• Prepare, generate, and follow up on quotations to secure orders.
• Review and act on open order reports and items at risk of delivery delays.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and notices.
• Report market trends, pricing and customer feedback to management.
