Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an Inside Counter Sales Representative to assist customers and contractors with quotes and product information both in person and over the phone. You will be the liaison between purchasing, design staff, production, and customers, driving sales while maintaining excellent service.

This role requires 1–2 years in the building materials industry or similar experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication, sales, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years in building material industry preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to quote, price, and provide product information.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with quotes and product information in person or by phone.
• Process orders, pricing, invoices, and sales tickets.
• Maintain stock, assist with deliveries, and coordinate with other teams.
• Provide accurate material takeoffs and product details when needed.
• Support outside sales reps to ensure customer satisfaction.
