Job summary

Merchants Metals is seeking a motivated Customer Service/Inside Sales representative to manage high-volume B2B client relationships and provide order fulfillment, quotes, and product information. You will act as the internal voice for customers, coordinating with sales reps and operations to ensure accurate, timely service.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of B2B customer support, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to multiple priorities. Training on ERP and company tools is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant B2B customer service experience.
• Experience in large-scale B2B environments.
• Strong communication, active listening, and note-taking.
• Willingness to learn ERP and MS Office/industry software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day relationship with high-volume B2B customers and coordinate with sales reps.
• Track and manage large multi-service-center orders across SKUs and delivery points.
• Provide product information, process orders, arrangements, invoicing, and returns.
• Record customer interactions and actions taken to resolve issues.
• Resolve service or billing issues by exchanging merchandise or adjusting bills.
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and services to customers.
