Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the branch sales team by converting inbound inquiries into sales, quoting and promoting the building materials program, and maintaining timely communication with customers about orders and delivery dates.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and the ability to build relationships over the phone. Competitive base pay with commission, PTO, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' related experience and/or training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work with customers over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to convert inbound inquiries into actual sales.
• Overcome objections and promote the building materials program.
• Prepare sales orders and quotes; communicate delivery dates and order status.
• Make outbound sales calls based on activity plans from Sales Manager or GM.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and ensure timely order processing.
