Job summary

US LBM is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support new and existing customers, provide product information, and back up outside sales. You will handle quotes, pricing, and order processing across phone and in-person channels.

The role involves coordinating deliveries, maintaining stock, and building strong customer relationships while ensuring accurate data entry and timely responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in building material industry preferred.
• 1–3 years of inside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, orders, prices, quotations, complaints, and delivery scheduling.
• Initiate calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter work orders, returns, credits, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products; obtain pricing specs and availability.
• Coordinate with outside sales, jobsites, and customers to manage project schedules.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Check back orders and resolve outstanding issues; assist with billing problems.
• Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
