Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to assist with new and existing customer sales and provide product support to outside sales reps. You will quote prices, provide product dimensions, and engage with customers both in person and by phone.

Your role involves generating sales through outbound calls, managing orders and credits, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining stock levels across yards and stockrooms.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to serve customers and handle inquiries.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and stock management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for quoting, ordering, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries about product selection, orders, prices, quotations, and deliveries.
• Initiate outbound calls to customers to generate sales.
• Enter work orders, returns, and service requests; file paperwork accordingly.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products and check pricing specs.
• Manage project schedules with outside sales, jobsites and customers.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments; resolve billing issues.
• Handle special orders and pricing; assist with price lists.
• Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
• Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
