Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to sell building material products to business and industrial customers and to ensure satisfaction and profitability. This full-time role includes a strong benefits package and competitive pay.

The position requires the ability to process orders, answer technical questions, estimate delivery lead times, and collaborate with sales, production, and transportation teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; and/or 1–2 years related experience in lumber, building materials, or building supplies industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of orders and sales data electronically and/or over the phone/email.
• Answer technical questions of prospective customers and advise customers on products that fit their needs.
• Estimate lead time and date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships.
• Works with sales, production, and transportation teams to meet customers’ needs.
• Investigates and resolves customer service issues as they may arise.
