Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Peoria, AZ seeks an Inside Sales professional to grow revenue by acquiring new accounts, upselling, and delivering excellent customer service.

The role acts as a link between customers, sales, dispatch and management, with about 80% in the office and 20% in the yard. Responsibilities include handling rental orders, creating quotes, assisting walk-ins, and helping customers select equipment while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Minimum 2 years inside sales experience.
• Sales ability identifying customer needs through suggestive selling or upselling.
• Able to work with a team and independently.
• Technologically capable: Microsoft Suite, CAD, AS/400.
• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and be 21+ to drive company vehicle.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document all incoming telephone calls to assist customers with rental needs.
• Create rental reservations, schedule pickups, and prepare quotes.
• Assist walk-in customers, vendors, or applicants in a professional manner.
• Help customers select equipment to meet their job needs.
• Coordinate via two-way radio with yard and shop for loading and orders.
• Review credit card rental files for accurate billing.
• Log lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls.
• Monitor open contract bin for rent opportunities and closed contracts.
• Relay leads to field sales for follow-up.
• May load/unload and deliver equipment as needed.
• Potential extended hours or on-call schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
