Job summary

TECHLITE Acoustics & Insulation in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to support orders, quotes, and customer inquiries. This onsite, day-shift role collaborates with engineering and production to ensure accurate order processing and responsive service.

The candidate will manage CRM records, coordinate with multiple departments, and help optimize the order lifecycle from quote to delivery, while maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing, order-processing role or B2B inside sales.
• Attention to detail.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience supporting customized or engineered-to-order products preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, live chat, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
• Build trusted relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
• Keep customers informed throughout the order lifecycle.
• Ensure the solution complies with customer-provided specifications.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries and onsite visitors as needed.
• Review and process all quotes and orders for completeness and accuracy before orders are released to production.
• Manage orders on hold for PO revisions, payment, etc.
• Ensure details of custom inquiries are provided to Technical Sales, Quality, and Engineering departments.
• Manage cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicate changes with related departments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• RMA processing and tracking.
• Backup as necessary if not primary duty.
• CRM Queue Management.
• Accurate payment processing for orders and samples.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
