Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to manage sales inquiries, price orders, and the processing of work orders.

You will purchase raw materials, maintain proactive customer communications, and ensure customer requirements are met before orders are accepted. The role also involves handling feedback and complaints, answering phones when needed, and coordinating the disposition of non-conforming products with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Take sales inquiries by phone, fax, email or walk-in and price inquiries effectively
• Ensure all customer requirements can be met or resolve differences prior to accepting orders
• Purchase raw material for stock and for Buy-Outs to related Sales Orders
• Maintain open communication with customers and address concerns as they arise
• Ensure feedback, including complaints, is forwarded to management
• Answer incoming phone calls when receptionist is unavailable
• Develop and revise Work Orders as necessary and manage disposition of non-conforming product with customers when required
