Job summary

Salina Steel Supply in Salina, KS seeks an Experienced Inside Sales professional to handle quotes, orders, and customer communications. You will source materials, manage paperwork with the warehouse, and coordinate with management to resolve issues.

Candidates should have strong oral and written communication, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work independently while supporting a team and using Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Take information for quoting or ordering from customers by phone, fax, e-mail or in person.
• Enter information in computer for quote or order and get it back to the customer.
• Go out and source and acquire in special materials that customers might need that we no not stock from other venders.
• Make out going calls to customers and see if they may require material on the next truck delivery.
• Ensure paperwork is received by warehouse in a timely and correct manner.
• Facilitate resolution of customer concerns and involve management as required. (Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, or Warehouse Manager).
• Effectively communicate with all departments and customers with goal of excellent customer service.
