Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of inside sales management experience required.
• 4 years inside sales management with distribution industry preferred.
• 4 years creating new or advancing sales channels preferred.
• 4 years training and developing a sales force preferred.
• Knowledge of wholesale distribution products and markets preferred.
• Strong sales, consultative and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage branch sales plan to meet goals and profitability.
• Plan with supplier partners to achieve mutual growth plans.
• Coach and mentor inside sales personnel.
• Provide customers with broad, creative solutions to assist in achieving goals.
• Collaborate with inside and field sales for effective communication within branch.
• Maintain limited and strategic account responsibility in branch.
• Oversee performance and development of inside sales team.
• Conduct one-on-one reviews to improve team performance.
• Prepare action plans to search leads and prospects.
• Identify and execute new sales initiatives to penetrate new markets.
• Assist in marketing plan implementation.
• Coordinate sales activities with other divisions.
• Maintain pricing, sales, and activity reports.
• Maintain client contact to ensure satisfaction.
