Job summary

InCord, a leading safety netting manufacturer based in Colchester, CT, seeks a detail-oriented Inside Sales Manager to act as a liaison with customers and distributors. You will maintain strong relationships through professionalism and accountability, providing on-time proposals and supporting marketing to existing accounts.

This onsite role collaborates with Sales, Production, Purchasing and Technical Services to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of proven sales experience required; applicable to manufacturing or other related wholesale industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications or relevant equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; good written, verbal and active listening skills.
• Proactive customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with varying personalities.
• Ability to interpret and analyze blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
• Strong math skills including basic arithmetic and unit conversion.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft office suite; excel or related software.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between InCord and customers/distributors; maintain strong relationships.
• Provide proposal support and assist in marketing to existing accounts.
• Prepare, develop, and deliver accurate, detailed sales proposals and bid responses.
• Seek out new sales opportunities, independently or with Outside Sales team members.
• Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products to improve sales and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with customers, distributors and internal teams to gather project specs and pricing.
