Job summary

FCX Performance is an Inside Sales Representative role within FCX Performance/Pump Energy, focused on building and expanding relationships with customers and our outside sales team. You will determine process flow control and instrumentation needs, offering solutions to meet those needs while impacting satisfaction and sales results.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in customer service or inside sales roles in industrial distribution; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1-3+ years’ experience in a Customer Service-related industry preferred; Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service/Application Engineer in industrial distribution a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell products by processing orders and inquiries, and suggesting additional items.
• Respond to customer inquiries and review purchase orders for special conditions.
• Expedite orders, process returns, and coordinate vendor shipments.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery with vendors as needed.
• Work with Outside Sales to maintain excellent customer service.
• Maximize gross margin through superior service and technical expertise.
• Review open order reports and address items at risk of late delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
