Job summary

FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Inbound-Inside Sales Representative with FCX Performance/Simco, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team.

You’ll determine their process flow control and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 1–3+ years’ experience in Customer Service related industry preferred.
• Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service in an Industrial Distributor a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell company products and services by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, and suggesting additional products.
• Maintains orders from quotation to collection, checks availability, and verifies ship dates.
• Responds to customer inquiries and reviews purchase orders for special conditions.
• Negotiates pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary.
• Works with Outside Sales to solicit business and maintain service levels.
• Communicates effectively as part of the inside sales team and supports workload sharing.
• Maximizes gross margin by delivering superior service and technical expertise.
• Reviews open order reports and acts on items at risk of delayed delivery.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
