Job summary

Anchor Harvey seeks an Inside Sales Engineer to act as the technical and commercial liaison between customers and internal teams. You will evaluate opportunities, develop manufacturing processes, and prepare accurate quotations to align customer needs with our capabilities.

The role requires deep knowledge of CNC machining, casting/forging, cost estimation, and process development, with a focus on profitable growth and successful program launches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining, process engineering, estimating, manufacturing engineering, or technical sales support.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes including carbon steel, stainless steel, bar stock and billet machining.
• Experience creating manufacturing routings, process plans, and cost estimates.
• Proficient in GD&T interpretation and application; familiar with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs, drawings, specs to develop comprehensive manufacturing strategies.
• Create detailed process routings with operation sequencing, machine selection, setup requirements, tooling assumptions, and cycle times.
• Develop cost models incorporating material, machining, tooling, fixturing, inspection, outside processing, and overhead costs.
• Prepare quotation packages and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and estimates.
• Support customer design reviews with Design for Manufacturability recommendations.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for Sales Engineers during engagements.
