Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join a 12-person team focused on a market segment, becoming an expert in clients’ businesses to better serve their needs and drive sales. Training is strong and growth opportunities are excellent as you work with accounts in petrochemical, defense, aerospace and industrial equipment sectors.

You will develop quotes, manage customer relationships, and collaborate with field and territory sales.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in a technically oriented role, preferably casting, machining, metal or materials process operation.
• Must have a passion to grow your career and interface with customers and team members.
• Good communication, verbal and written, and computer skills (phone outreach).
• Job shop experience is a plus
• Foundry experience would be a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for the parts the customer wants
• Be an account manager for your customers to increase sales and serve their needs and get them answers to their questions
• Work in conjunction with field sales and territory sales to increase sales and grow the business. 75% of the work is existing clients, 20% is seeking new business from existing clients and 5% is new business development
• Much of the work is done on a project basis and you will see it through the entire sales cycle
• Interface with all departments and levels within the company to effectively accomplish your work
• Limited travel, once per quarter on average
