Job summary

Anchor Harvey is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to act as the technical and commercial liaison among customers, Sales Engineers, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. You will evaluate opportunities, develop manufacturing processes, and generate accurate quotations.

The role requires deep knowledge of CNC machining, casting and forging, process development, and cost estimation, translating customer needs into manufacturable solutions to support profitable growth and program

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in CNC machining, process engineering, estimating, manufacturing engineering, or technical sales support.
Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, and CAD models.
Experience creating manufacturing routings, process plans, and cost estimates.
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and other automotive/OEM quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

Analyze RFQs, drawings, and specs to develop manufacturing strategies.
Create process routings with sequencing, machine selection, setup, tooling, and cycle times.
Develop cost models covering material, machining, tooling, fixturing, inspection, and overhead.
Prepare quotation packages to support profitable decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and estimates.
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and enhance production efficiency.
