A major player in the casting and machining industry is hiring an Inside Sales Engineer to join a 12-person team and become an expert for key client markets. You will develop quotes, manage customer accounts, and work with field and territory teams to grow sales across existing and new clients.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering with proven customer-facing experience.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role, preferably casting, machining, metal or materials processing.
• Passion to grow your career and interface with customers and team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication and computer skills.
• Job shop experience is a plus.
• Foundry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for parts the customer wants.
• Be an account manager for your customers to increase sales and serve their needs and provide answers to questions.
• Collaborate with field and territory sales to grow the business; 75% existing clients, 20% upsell, 5% new business development.
• Manage projects through the full sales cycle.
• Coordinate with all departments to accomplish tasks.
• Travel limited to about once per quarter.
