Job summary

Control Associates Inc. in Allendale, NJ, seeks an experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join our Final Control team. You will be the technical backbone of your account team, driving sales success through exceptional service and innovative solutions.

Compose quotations, review specifications, and support accounts with valve automation products, instruments, and process control solutions. A strong engineering background and CRM/Excel proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemistry/Biology, Computer/Technology, or Mechanical preferred).
  • 2+ years of engineering, operations, or sales experience within served industries.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting clients within a sales organization or process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and CRM proficiency (ERP experience a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage customer account relationships for control valves, regulators, valve automation products, instrument & valve services, and process automation solutions.
  • Review customer specifications, technical requirements, and commercial terms to complete application engineering and generate accurate, competitive quotations.
  • Serve as the primary inside technical contact for the account team, responding to quotation requests, providing troubleshooting guidance, and driving proactive follow-up.
  • Review customer purchase orders for compliance with quotations and resolve discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Account Managers and Sales Coordinators to deliver seamless customer experiences.

The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join our Final Control team in Allendale, NJ.
