Job summary

Brilliant Electrical Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support electrical contractors, facility managers, industrial maintenance teams, and industry partners with fast, accurate, and reliable electrical equipment solutions — while also managing and growing our eBay storefront. This role combines relationship-based inside sales with hands-on eBay operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years inside sales, customer service, or e‑commerce experience (electrical supply preferred).
• Experience managing an eBay storefront or similar e‑commerce platform.
• Ability to interpret equipment specifications, panel schedules or diagrams, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability by customer type and channel.
• Proficient with CRM systems (Pipedrive preferred), QuickBooks, and eBay messaging tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in listing review and order processing.
• Team-oriented with accountability and problem-solving skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. during cross-training in Shipping, Receiving & Inventory.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate quotes for electrical equipment and related gear.
• Assist customers in identifying correct replacement products using photos and diagrams.
• Interpret panel schedules and diagrams to confirm compatibility and specifications.
• Offer alternatives when items are discontinued or on long lead times.
• Follow up on quotes to close orders and maintain relationships.
• Communicate with electrical contractors, facility managers, and maintenance teams clearly and professionally.
• Manage online store messages, pre-sale inquiries, post-sale follow-up, and issue resolution across channels.
• Maintain interactions with dealers, distributors, and industry partners.
• Enter orders in QuickBooks and eBay; coordinate with warehouse for fulfillment.
• Cross-train in shipping, receiving, and inventory; support eBay storefront operations.
