Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Sales Development Representative in Mansfield, OH. You will generate new business through targeted outbound prospecting and build a strong pipeline for future Outside Sales opportunities.

This role focuses on identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and coordinating referrals while maintaining accurate CRM records and supporting pricing configurations to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of outbound calling, inside sales, or business development experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to calculate pricing, margins, and service configurations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outbound prospecting by geographic areas to generate new business.
• Qualify and close new customer opportunities within service guidelines.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales for larger opportunities and referrals.
• Schedule appointments and provide qualified referrals for larger opportunities.
• Document contacts, opportunities, and sales in the CRM with accurate notes.
• Support pricing/configuration reviews to meet revenue and margin targets.
