Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate new business through targeted outbound prospecting within assigned geographic markets. You will build relationships, qualify accounts, and identify opportunities for transition to Outside Sales.

Role emphasizes CRM usage, scheduling appointments, and creating a robust sales pipeline while learning pricing configurations and service offerings. This is an inside sales oriented position with growth into Outside Sales.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better required.
• Associates or better in a relevant field preferred.
• Bachelors or better in a relevant field preferred.
• General Education Diploma (GED) considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outbound prospecting by zip code, city, county, or other areas to generate new business.
• Identify, qualify, and close new customer opportunities within service and volume guidelines.
• Coordinate with Outside Sales for referrals on larger opportunities.
• Schedule appointments and provide qualified referrals to Outside Sales for broader opportunities.
• Maintain consistent outbound activity to develop a strong sales pipeline.
• Document customer contacts and opportunities in the CRM accurately.
• Follow established sales processes and pricing guidelines.
• Travel between offices as required.
