Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate new business through targeted outbound prospecting in assigned markets. The role supports route densification and identifies opportunities for transition to Outside Sales.

You will build a strong pipeline, qualify opportunities, and coordinate with Outside Sales for larger deals while documenting all activities in the CRM. This position emphasizes inside sales skills and growth into field sales over time.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of outbound calling or business development experience preferred.
• Experience with inside sales and prospecting pipelines is a plus.
• Ability to understand pricing, margins, and service configurations.

Responsabilités

• Generate new business through targeted outbound prospecting in assigned geographic markets.
• Identify and qualify opportunities for transition to Outside Sales.
• Schedule appointments and provide referrals to Outside Sales for larger opportunities.
• Document contacts, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM.
• Support a strong sales pipeline and follow-up on referred opportunities.
