Job summary

North American Stainless in Ghent, KY is seeking an Inside Sales professional to receive and process customer inquiries and orders, follow up on orders, and expedite priority shipments. The role acts as the main customer contact with internal departments to resolve delivery, quality, invoicing, and freight issues.

Responsibilities include coordinating with planning, monitoring orders for delays, and building strong customer loyalty through accurate, timely service and product knowledge of NAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree preferred with relevant experience in customer service or inside sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to learn about NAS products and applications to improve service.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes customer inquiries and orders via telephone, mail or EDI.
• Monitors orders to anticipate delays and prevent errors.
• Coordinates with planning to promote prompt delivery.
• Responds to customer questions and complaints with internal departments.
• Expands knowledge of NAS products to maximize sales potential.
• Develops understanding of continuing customer needs and builds loyalty.
• Travels to customer facilities and participates in mill meetings when required.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
