Job summary

North American Stainless in Ghent, Kentucky, seeks a QC Tech Rep to support quality initiatives across the Flat and Long Products Groups, manage customer claims, and ensure timely disposition of materials. You will assist in ISO compliance, generate internal quality reports, respond to test certificate requests, and help relay customer information to Operations and Inspection.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with steel industry exposure/experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are important.
• Ability to work effectively in a plant environment and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition customer claims or complaints.
• Assist in ISO compliance and quality-system maintenance.
• Generate internal quality reports for QC and related teams.
• Field requests for Metallurgical Test Certificates and monitor special specs.
• Support operations, inspection, and warehouse in quality-related tasks.
• Interact with customers via calls and provide QA-related information.
