Job summary

Applied Systems is seeking an Inside Sales Consultant to join our Inside Sales team in a hybrid role based in Chicago, with offices in Dallas-Fort Worth or Lincoln. You will own the full sales cycle for our SaaS insurance tech solutions and drive growth by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals with independent agencies.

The role requires 2+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience, strong consultative selling, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B sales experience.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed new business or territory targets.
• Consultative selling to map customer goals to solutions.
• Excellent communication skills; self-motivated and energetic.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across our technology solutions.
• Generate new pipeline via outbound prospecting and territory planning.
• Consult with independent agency owners as a trusted advisor.
• Consistently meet and exceed annual sales quota.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
