Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to support sales, marketing, and technical teams. The role involves lead follow-up, opportunity sourcing, CRM activity, and coordinating promotional materials for events and demos.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, inside sales experience, and strong communication along with MS Office proficiency. HubSpot experience is a plus, with a focus on team collaboration and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
• Inside sales experience preferred.
• Administrative experience required.
• HubSpot experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Understand customer needs and requirements.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate territory sales managers for further development and closure.
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
• Track customer inquiries and update sales, technical, and/or lab team on issues.
• Coordinate scheduling and order promotional materials for conventions, site visits, etc.
• Provide information from the plant and sales team to the corporate marketing team, who will handle posting on social media.
• Assist with sales and technical department administrative tasks.
• Schedule meetings, coordinate demo days, and arrange travel details.
• Work within the CRM.
• Perform other support tasks as needed.
