Job summary

Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC is assisting a client—an industry leader in outdoor equipment and amenities—in recruiting an Inside Sales Account Manager. This on-site role focuses on managing inbound leads within a national/territorial scope, driving growth, and delivering product expertise and top-tier customer service.

You will meet sales targets, manage accounts and distributors, and collaborate with reps to design and cost projects, prepare proposals, and process orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Min. 6 months of Account Management experience.
• Customer Service and Sales experience required.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• On-site position, M-F.
• Minimal travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Meet / exceed goals and develop strategic plans.
• Manage existing accounts and distributors, collaborate to develop new business.
• Maintain and grow client/partner relationships.
• Evaluate and qualify inbound leads; forward to appropriate reps or distributors.
• Partner with sales reps to create customized designs for projects; providing cost estimates, drawings, competitive insights, and installation support.
• Prepare proposals and quotes for accounts and distributors in a timely manner.
• Process orders, add to system to be taken over by project coordinators.
• Create conceptual drawing and design drawing requests.
• Support and educate sales reps on available resources including website best practices, product training and quote tool.
• Ensure favorable customer experience and satisfaction in collaboration with internal departments.
• Manage territory performance as well as personal performance; track, measure and analyze data.
