You will coordinate with independent adjusters and contractors, ensure policy coverage adherence, and contribute to catastrophe response when needed. A college degree in insurance or business is preferred with active licensing within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience as an inside property claims specialist or equivalent in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of property claims investigation, valuation, negotiation and settlement.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial property products and policy coverage.
• Ability to investigate thoroughly, assess documentation and reach settlements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to obtain adjuster licenses within six months.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve property claims including structure, contents, ALE, scheduled property and business income.
• Deliver customer-focused service via phone and other channels.
• Coordinate with contractors and independent adjusters for inspections and expertise.
• Assist resolution specialists with assigned tasks and depreciation calculations.
• Maintain compliance, documentation and reporting per procedures.
• Meet productivity targets (70–85 claim elements per month).
• Support catastrophe claims across the service territory.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders; maintain licenses.
• Maintain required state licensing examinations within six months.
