Ziegler Cat is seeking an Inside Parts Sales Person to join our Minnesota team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers identify the right parts, and processing orders efficiently.

Strong teamwork and communication are essential to support our growth. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in diesel or industrial equipment parts/service and a HS Diploma with proficiency in Outlook and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 2+ years in diesel engine, construction or agriculture equipment, or automotive parts or service.
• Up to 4 years of experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player.
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Outlook (email).
• Basic telephone experience and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customers.
• Helps customers determine correct parts needed, verify availability, and make recommendations.
• Determines the correct parts and their availability, and completes parts orders.
• Determines the supplying facility and mode of transportation for parts shipment.
• Enters proper shipping information into the parts ordering system to process the order and generate an invoice.
• Processes backorders, returns, and exchanges.
• Assists team with group and team sales, providing link and collaboration between departments.
• Communicates with customers for sales, follow-ups, and addressing potential issues.
• Works cooperatively with team and superiors.
• Prepares quotes for service work, engines, machines, and parts.
• Assists customers with basic issues or concerns by taking action or escalating.
• Maintains a safe and productive workplace with environmental standards.
