Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, invites you to join our Inside Counter Sales team in Oregon. You will quote prices, provide product information in person and over the phone, and act as liaison between customers and internal staff to drive sales.

The role requires 1–2 years in the building material industry, a High School Diploma, and strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma.
• 1–2 years in building material industry preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and use computer systems.
• Knowledge of product specifications and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process in person or by phone.
• Responds to customer inquiries regarding product selection and pricing.
• Initiates calls to generate sales and maintains accurate orders.
• Coordinates delivery, pricing, and special orders as needed.
• Provides accurate material takeoffs and supports drafting/engineering as required.
• Maintains stock levels and operates the POS system daily.
