Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong analytic abilities and data-driven nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, develops and implements an individualized plan, coordinates care and evaluates outcomes.
• Directs care and uses appropriate supervision of nursing assistants.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff; documents plans focused on outcomes.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the care plan accordingly.
• Utilizes evidence and research findings to guide nursing practice.
