Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; IL RN license current.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/ETC may be required for ER roles.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, and develops an individualized plan, coordinating care and evaluating progress.
• Directs care and determines appropriate use of any assistant involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to document a plan focused on outcomes and communications.
• Participates in shared governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing interventions and individualizes the plan of care.
• Uses the best available evidence to guide practice decisions.
