Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a part-time Inpatient RN to join GP2, a 24-bed unit. The role includes direct patient care, coordination with a multidisciplinary team, and ongoing assessment to maximize patient safety and satisfaction.

The position offers a minimum hiring rate of $41.50 per hour with higher rates for experienced nurses and up to $7 in shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. 0.5 FTE with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
• Current RN license in PA (or eligible).
• Ability to work 0.5 FTE with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans, organize and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments and medications as per policy.
• Evaluate nursing interventions and revise plans based on patient response.
• Participate in quality and safety education programs.
