Geisinger is seeking a part-time Inpatient Registered Nurse at the Wilkes-Barre area with a minimum hiring rate of $41.41 per hour and additional $7 differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, direct patient care, and collaboration with the care team.

Graduate from a nursing specialty program is required; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred. On-site hospital role with comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) with RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).

Responsabilités

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family.
• Formulates and coordinates plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Evaluates and revises care plans based on patient response.
• Collaborates with physicians and other team members to resolve patient needs.
• Manages equipment handling and troubleshooting as required.
• Participates in evidence-based practice decisions and unit goals.
• Engages in quality and safety education programs.
