Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient Registered Nurse for the GP4 unit. The position offers a $24,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates and a minimum starting pay of $41.50 per hour, with up to a $7 shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants. The role focuses on palliative, hospice, and medical-surgical care, with a 36-hour work week (0.9 FTE) on straight nights and an every-other-weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Experience coordinating patient care across interdisciplinary teams.
• Focus on safety, patient and family education, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and staff to meet unit goals.
• Deliver direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostics.
• Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
• Contribute to quality and safety education and unit/organization metrics.
• Participate in unit decision-making and equipment handling.
