Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for day shifts in GWV. The role offers a minimum hiring rate of $41.41 per hour with higher rates for experienced nurses and up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends.

Provides direct patient care, assessments, care planning and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting. Eligible for full Geisinger benefits from day one including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) with Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family throughout the continuum of care.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications and diagnostic studies according to policy and procedure.
• Initiates collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
• Participates in unit-based decision-making regarding the utilization of evidence-based practice.
