Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Ability to perform complex patient assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assess, organize, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs.
• Complete assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Plan and coordinate care including education and discharge planning.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise care plan accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-disciplinary team to resolve patient needs.
• Handle equipment safety and participate in unit-based decision making.
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives and team goals.
