Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN. The position offers a $26,000 hiring incentive for eligible candidates and a minimum hiring rate of $40.55 per hour, with higher rates for experienced staff and up to $7 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

Responsibilities

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies according to policy
• Complete assessments as established by scope of practice and unit standards
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family
• Formulate, coordinate and provide plan of care with education and discharge planning
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and revise plan of care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to resolve patient needs
• Troubleshoot and handle equipment safely
• Participate in evidence-based practice initiatives
• Contribute to unit goals and organizational quality and safety
• Meet job-specific obligations and policies
