• RN license in Illinois (or eligible)
• BSN/ADN with commitment to BSN within 3 years
• BLS certification

• Pediatric ER requires Pediatric Life Support and TNCC within 1 year (PED ER)

Responsibilities

• Administers and coordinates nursing care for acutely ill patients using the nursing process.
• Interacts with patient, family, and health team colleagues per ANA standards.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and utilizes any nursing assistants appropriately.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and staff; documents care decisions and outcomes.
• Participates in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Documents patient responses and updates the care plan accordingly.
• Applies evidence-based practice to guide clinical decisions.
