Minimum requirements include an NLN-accredited nursing education, Illinois RN license, and CPR certification. Weekend and holiday coverage is required as part of the float pool.

Qualifications

• Education: NLN accredited school/college of nursing; bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Licensure: Current State of Illinois RN license; CPR certification.
• Experience: Experience in specific clinical area; nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates clinically competent, evidence-based care for assigned patients.
• Participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
• Advocates for patient-centered care and maintains safe environment.
• Develops and implements individualized education plans for patients and families.
