The role emphasizes coordination of care, collaboration with the health team, and adherence to ANA standards within a dynamic hospital setting.

The position requires a BSN or ADN with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years, IL RN licensure, BLS, and relevant certifications.

Formación

• BSN degree or equivalent; IL RN license is required.
• BLS certification required; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• ACLS, PALS/ENPC and TNCC within specified timeframes (ER/Pediatric ER/Non-Invasive Cardiology).
• ADN may be acceptable if the employee commits to obtaining a BSN within three years.
• Experience in Emergency Department or Pediatric ED preferred; trauma and critical care background valued.

Responsabilidades

• Collects and analyzes data to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Directs care and coordinates use of nursing staff and assistants.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and staff; documents care plans and decisions.
• Engages in governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions and updates care plans accordingly.
• Applies evidence-based practices to guide clinical decisions.
